Marching With Legs Tied?

Rajeev and Sameer were soldiers in the same military unit. Once, the two had a big fight.

Rajeev being the stronger of the two made Sameer fall. Then he tied the hands and legs of Sameer. Sameer was helpless and stayed in that position in his room for two hours.

Suddenly, the officer Gavin ordered that the entire battalion should be ready in 10 minutes for a marching practice. 

But with his legs tied, how could Sameer march?

Moral of the Story

Just like one cannot march with his legs tied, in the same way one cannot attain God without involving the mind in devotion.

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj teaches us that the mind is the prime vehicle for God Realization. If this vehicle does not move, progress towards God will be zero.
