Intent Of The Mind Dictates Our Destiny

Akshay was married to his beautiful wife Sunaina. Sunaina was not only beautiful, she took care of everything in
the house with extreme care. She won the respect and love of Akshay's sister Shruti and his parents very quickly.

It was April 1. Sunaina and Shruti thought of a little trick to play with Akshay.

Sunaina wrote on a paper - O Ram! When will you come? I have waited for you for so long. Why can't I ever please you with the love in my heart. O Ram! Please come soon.

Sunaina then folded the paper and left it under Akshay's pillow. Akshay was home that day.
He had come home from a business trip and was resting during the day. When he woke up, he accidentally found the letter. As soon as he read the letter, he was furious. He went to the living room where everyone was sitting.

And he said - I knew that something was wrong. How can a girl be so perfect and nice? We all have been cheated. Look at this letter. Sunaina has a lover and she is anxious to see him, even after marriage. See!

There was silence in the room. But suddenly Shruti laughed. She could not control it. And then Sunaina smiled and then the parents burst into laughter. Akshay could not understand. Why is everyone laughing?

Shruti then explained - O Bhaiya! Today is April 1, the April Fool's Day. This was just a trick. Ram in the letter is no one else but Lord Ram and Bhabhi has written a devotional letter to Him. You got tricked by it..Ha Ha Ha..But one thing is sure, you are so possessive about your wife. Isn't it?

Akshay was taken aback. He murmurred - O Really? Was it a trick? What a fool I am? How could I suspect my dear wife. I am really a fool.

Moral Of The Story

On April 1, people celebrate 'April Fools Day'. People make fool of each other but no one takes it to heart or files a case against the other person fooling him. People understand that the intention of the tricks is to have fun and not to hurt anyone.

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj teaches us that in the same way in the God's court of law, the intent of the mind dictates our destiny. Arjun killed so many but he neither loved nor hated the ones he killed. The intent of his mind was to do a duty, to follow an instruction and not to kill. Hence all his murders were pardoned.
