The Lesson of Peace - Da Da Da

Once the humans, the devatas and the asuras all went to their father Brahma and asked Him a remedy
for their suffering. Each explained how difficult it was for them to live. Brahma Ji heard everyone and then addressed each group - Da, Da, Da!

He first addressed the humans - Daan!
O humans! Your highest attachment is in money. You are all trying to collect more and more wealth and think that money can buy material things which will make you happy. But that is wrong. God is the real happiness.

So O humans! Learn to give. When you give to the right utensil, your ego goes down, so you sin less. And also, giving reduces your attachment with money, hence your mind gets cleansed, making you more fit for love of God.

Then He addressed the devatas - Daman!
O Devatas! The desire is the biggest disease the mind has. With the desire begins its pursuit. If the desire gets fulfilled, you want more and the greed is born. If the desire does not get fulfilled, you become frustrated and anger is born. In each case, you suffer.

So O Devatas! Learn to curb your desires.

Then He addressed the asuras - Daya!
O Asuras! You are known to show no mercy. You sin by killing, by harassing and not letting the sages do their devotion. Your accounts of sins are humungous. The only way, your suffering can reduce is by showing kindness to others and being happy by making others happy.

Moral of the Story

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj teaches us how we can purify ourselves and become peaceful by adopting the above remedies. Hari Guru will give their Grace only when we have completed our purification process and are conscious of God and Guru 100% of our time.
